Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing individualized intervention plans and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. Candidates must be patient and compassionate, able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and committed to safety.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with supervision.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and family impact.
