Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.

The role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to active environments. Training is provided; paid hourly with a range of $18-$25.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within after completing onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• One-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team to support child progress and safety.
• Assist in consistent data collection and progress tracking.
