School Schedule: School Year plus 6 Weeks in the Summer.

Who You Are

You are an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician who will treat, track, and report the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) related interventions for individuals with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) in a school-based environment.

What You’ll Do

  1. Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, school yards, the gross motor room, and on field trips.
  2. Provide 1:1 behavioral and skill acquisition support and treatment for students in identified areas of need.
  3. Ensure accurate and reliable data collection on all IEP goals and other target skills related to ABA curriculum using data sheets and electronic marking devices to identify skill acquisitions, behavioral improvement, and mastered target achievement.
  4. Complete documentation in accordance with Hope deadlines and legal timelines.
  5. Collaborate with IEP and treatment team including teachers, schools, and behavioral personnel to maximize daily planning, record keeping, goal achievement, accommodations, and modifications.
  6. Actively participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs to continuously update skills.
  7. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • Registered Behavior Technician Certificate.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental delays.

Clearances & Training Required

  • Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
  • Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance.
  • Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education.
  • Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate.
  • Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children.
  • CPR/First Aid.
  • TB/Physical.
