We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician - Children’s Group to join our team in our Butler, PA location.

Position Details

Merakey is seeking ONSITE Behavioral Health Technicians. NO HOME VISITS. Afterschool hours.

This role provides basic group behavioral facilitation and interventions to a group of children in an established setting. It also involves providing one-on-one interventions to support this training when the child's behavior would otherwise require a more restrictive treatment or educational setting.

Earn $17.50 an hour.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Required:

• High school diploma plus higher education coursework
• 1–3 years relevant experience

Preferred:

• 2 years’ experience in behavioral health services (e.g., TSS/BHT)
• Completion of a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training with certification from a certified BCBA or BCBA-D, including the trainer's name
• Completed coursework in mental health, child development, or related fields
