Job summary

Centria Autism in Sheridan, OR is seeking enthusiastic individuals to become Registered Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

We provide comprehensive training, emphasize teamwork, and support a caring environment. You must be patient and able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and sit as needed. Pay range: $19 - $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based ABA techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Monitor progress and collect data to inform interventions.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and collaborate with team members.
