Job summary

Tellos in Chapin, SC seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to implement ABA plans under the supervision of a BCBA in a home setting.

You will collect data on client progress, assist with assessments, and provide 1:1 ABA therapy while collaborating with speech and occupational therapists and attending ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• RBT Certification is required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping improve lives of clients.

Job Description:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in helping our clients develop essential skills and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Assist with functional behaviour assessments and skill assessments
• Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to clients in a home setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician Certification
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

• High school diploma or equivalent
