Job summary

Centria Autism in Newton, MA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; you will work with a dedicated team, standing and moving as needed to assist children who weigh up to 50 pounds. Competitive pay and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Candidate will obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in team trainings and follow supervision guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for children and families.
