Job summary

Centria Autism in Virginia is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to join our dedicated team. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress.
• Ensure safety and comfort during activities.
