Galaxy ABA Therapy in Chantilly, VA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with developmental disabilities through play-based ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings.

As an RBT you will implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans under a BCBA, collect data, complete session documentation, and collaborate with parents and supervisors. We offer training, weekdays with some weekend options, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; further degrees preferred.
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete within the first six months of employment).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety.
• Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided).
• Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate.

As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in helping children with developmental disabilities build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors through evidence-based, play-based ABA therapy.

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging, while collecting data on client progress and completing session documentation. You will also collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members to maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment.
