Galaxy ABA Therapy in Manassas, VA is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in home, school, or community settings.

You will implement behavior plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with BCBA supervisors, families, and team members to deliver engaging, play-based ABA therapy. Flexible weekday hours with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 40-hour RBT training or willingness to complete within six months.
• Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, VA).
• CPR, HIPAA, TB clearance required or supported.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings.
• Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA.
• Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy engaging.

What You'll Do as a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy)

What We're Looking For in a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (ABA Therapy)

• High school diploma (required); Associate's or Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete within the first six months of employment)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
• Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
• Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate
