Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our in-home and community ABA services in Aurora, Colorado. The role focuses on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, under supervision of a BCBA.

You will collect data, implement plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers flexible hours (afternoons), travel as needed, and opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications

Job Overview

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
Skills
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Types: Part-time/Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
