Job summary

Galliant in Waxahachie is seeking a dedicated RBT to support center-based care for children with ASD. Training is provided, including paid RBT training and sponsorship if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; RBT certification is a plus but not required and training is provided.
• Empathy, strong communication, and a passion for supporting neurodivergent children.
• Active and agile; sit on the floor, stand, bend, kneel, run, and engage safely with young children.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to arrive at the Waxahachie clinic daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care for children with ASD in a clinic setting.
• Implement individualized behavior plans to support communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Track session data and write daily progress notes on a digital tablet.
• Collaborate with speech and occupational therapists and leadership to improve client outcomes.

Pay: $19.00 – $24.00/hr (Certified RBTs) | $18.00 – $19.00/hr (Uncertified / Paid Training)

Schedule: Full-Time, Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM (Occasional meetings to 5:00 PM)

What You’ll Do (1-on-1 Direct Care):

• Work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an active clinic setting using neurodiversity-affirming, assent-based care.

• Implement individualized behavior plans to support functional communication, social skills, and daily living activities.

• Track session data and write clear, objective daily progress notes using a digital tablet.

• Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and clinical leadership to achieve positive client outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education & Credentials: High School Diploma or GED required (Active BACB RBT certification is a major plus, but not required—we will train and certify you!).

• Mindset: High empathy, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting neurodivergent children.

• Physical Ability: Must be active and agile—able to sit on the floor, stand, bend, kneel, run, and transition quickly to safely engage with young children at their level.

• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to arrive at the Waxahachie clinic daily.
