Job summary

Galaxy ABA NC LLC in Moyock, NC is hiring a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children in home, school, or community settings. You will implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans under a BCBA, using play-based methods to keep therapy engaging and effective.

We value strong communication, safety, and teamwork. Applicants should have a high school diploma, and 40-hour RBT training or willingness to complete it before starting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; related degrees preferred.
• 40-hour RBT training or willingness to complete before start.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and ensure client safety.
• Pass background checks; CPR, HIPAA, TB clearance supported.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings.
• Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA.
• Use play-based, child-led approaches to therapy.
• Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment.
