Job summary

Galaxy ABA Therapy in Havelock, NC is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children in home, school, or community settings. You will implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans created by a BCBA, using play-based methods to keep therapy engaging and effective.

You will collect data, document sessions, and collaborate with a supportive team while maintaining safety and professionalism in all environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training or willingness to complete before starting (provided by Galaxy ABA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety.
• Ability to pass background checks and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided).

As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
