Job summary

Galaxy ABA Therapy is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children in home, school, or community settings in Havelock, NC. You will implement skills and behavior plans under a BCBA, documenting progress and collaborating with families and supervisors.

The role offers paid training, opportunities for advancement, and flexible weekday schedules with some weekend options. Travel within the Havelock area may be required up to 25%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training or willingness to complete before starting.
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain CPR, HIPAA, TB clearances.

Galaxy ABA Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Havelock, NC! As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, you'll join a dynamic team that prioritizes kindness, respect, and positive experiences.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
• Ability to pass background checks and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
