Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Applicants should be passionate, patient, and a team player. Training is provided; lifting up to 50 pounds is required and a Registered Behavior Technician certification will be obtained

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if not current.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the BCBA.
