Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with children with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings.

In this role, you will implement treatment plans created by BCBAs, support clients in building communication and adaptive skills, and maintain detailed session data to track progress across sessions.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field; or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, child development professional, camp counselor, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
