Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You will work with BCBAs to implement behavior plans, assist with daily activities, data collection, and family communication. A valid RBT is required, and a driver’s license is needed to support client transport when necessary.

We offer flexible scheduling (12pm–4pm, 20 hours/week), supervision, and opportunities for professional growth, including BACB programs and staff development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• RBT certification is required upon hire and must be active.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Experience with autism/ABA preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or willingness to learn.

At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), we’re seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.

Position details: Part-time, M-F shifts times from 12pm to 4pm (20hrs. per week)

Location: Raleigh, NC

Compensation: $21-24 /hour based on your experience

What You'll Do

Your care will make a huge difference in the lives of the children/adolescents you will be helping. Behavior technicians work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. They will help clients with day-to-day activities, social interactions, record and collect data on client’s progress, and communicate with client’s families.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED is required. College degree is preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required upon hire, must be active and in good standing, and the certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must possess unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Experience in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Autism, or Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
• Proven experience working with individuals with autism and their families (preferred).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work with staff, clients, and stakeholders in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy to learn
