Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to join our collaborative team. You will support BCBA analysts to implement behavior plans, help with daily activities and social skills, and collect data to monitor progress for families.

This part-time role offers a flexible M-F schedule from 12pm to 4pm, $21-24 per hour based on experience, and ongoing supervision, training, and professional growth within a trusted nonprofit.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required upon hire and active.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Experience with autism or ABA settings is preferred.

Position details: Part-time, M-F shifts times from 12pm to 4pm (20hrs. per week)

Location: Raleigh, NC

Compensation: $21-24 /hour based on your experience

What You’ll Do

Your care will make a huge difference in the lives of the children/adolescents you will be helping. Behavior technicians work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. They will help clients with day-to-day activities, social interactions, record and collect data on client's progress, and communicate with client’s families.

What We’re Looking For

To join our team, you must have a willingness to provide care in various community settings. We require:

• High School Diploma or GED is required. College degree is preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required upon hire, must be active and in good standing, and the certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must possess unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Experience in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Autism, or Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
• Proven experience working with individuals with autism and their families (preferred).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work with staff, clients, and stakeholders in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy to learn.
