Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Raleigh, NC seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician for part-time afternoon shifts. You will support clients under BCBA supervision, implement behavior plans, and help families navigate daily activities.

You’ll collect data, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to outcomes in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Active RBT certification required at hire and must be maintained.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Experience with education, psychology, autism, or ABA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist BCBA with implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans.
• Support clients with daily activities and social interactions.

At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), we’re seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.

Position details: Part-time, M-F shifts times from 12pm to 4pm (20hrs. per week)
Location: Raleigh, NC
Compensation: $21-24 /hour based on your experience

What You’ll Do

Your care will make a huge difference in the lives of the children/adolescents you will be helping. Behavior technicians work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. They will help clients with day-to-day activities, social interactions, record and collect data on client's progress, and communicate with client’s families.

What We’re Looking For

To join our team, you must have a willingness to provide care in various community settings. We require:

• High School Diploma or GED is required. College degree is preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required upon hire, must be active and in good standing, and the certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must possess unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Experience in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Autism, or Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
• Proven experience working with individuals with autism and their families (preferred).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work with staff, clients, and stakeholders in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy to learn
