Job summary

Morgan Construction Management seeks a Design Project Manager (Architect) in Philadelphia to support the School District of Philadelphia’s capital program. The role requires a PA-licensed architect with at least seven years of experience in school facilities, leading project coordination, design development, and permit processes.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect in PA with seven+ years in educational facilities design, review and coordination.
• Experience managing capital projects, building surveys, and design development documentation.

Responsibilities

• Generate and advertise RFPs for third-party design firms.
• Review proposals from design firms and approve contracts.
• Prepare scope reports for Capital Improvement Projects and site surveys.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for code compliance.
• Coordinate with L&I and external agencies on permits and approvals.
• Support long-range facilities planning and capital investment strategies.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure constructability and integration of building systems.
