Job summary

Compass is seeking a Workplace Operations & Facilities Manager to lead regional efforts ensuring offices are productive spaces and customers receive hands-on support. You will manage facilities services, amenities, maintenance, and asset management across a portfolio and oversee third-party providers and lease relationships.

You will drive vendor contracts, post-lease setups, and safety programs while coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize cost and service levels.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in facilities or Workplace Operations management.
• 3+ years experience managing suppliers and vendors with contracts.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with lease operations language and execution.
• Working knowledge of commercial MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire and life safety).
• Excellent communication, organization and writing skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for regional teams and vendors within a portfolio (30%).
• Develop a robust network of vendors and manage service contracts; monitor performance.
• Oversee post-lease and construction aspects for new expansion offices; manage leases and service contracts.
• Escalate large facilities maintenance emergencies.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Workplace/Facilities budget.
• Oversee property insurance claims and related work.
• Manage CapEx budgets related to workplace operations and vendor payments.
• Provide prompt responses to tenant requests; ensure excellent in-office experience.
• Improve processes, documentation, and tools for building safety and security with third-party providers.
• Enforce health and safety plans and office regulations.
