Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with regional operations, execute WHS policies, and ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations. You will lead a team of WHS professionals, drive continuous improvement using lean methodologies, and mentor site leaders to strengthen safety culture across multiple FCs.

The role requires 7+ years in safety/environmental programs, strong communication, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with WHS Policies.
• Measure regional/site performance against WHS requirements and drive corrective plans.
• Maintain WHS data integrity and provide accurate reporting and metrics.
• Lead safety program improvement initiatives with regional teams.
• Develop and mentor WHS managers and associates; build bench strength.
• Deliver training and communicate organizational direction to WHS teams.
