Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with regional operations, drive WHS policy deployment, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

You will lead continuous safety improvements, mentor WHS teams, deliver risk assessments and training, and communicate clearly with leadership to build a strong safety culture across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in safety/environment programs within manufacturing, production, or operations.
• 7+ years managing people and performance.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and relocate as needed.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on local and regional regulations and WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with Amazon WHS policies.
• Measure regional performance and plan improvements for deficiencies.
• Maintain WHS data integrity and deliver accurate metrics.
• Lead safety projects on time and drive Kaizen initiatives.
• Mentor FC WHS managers and associates.
• Spend time at fulfillment centers to gather input and drive program improvements.
