Job summary

Arcadis, a leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, seeks a Regional Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to direct development of water and wastewater projects in the Southeast. This hands-on role involves collaboration across Arcadis locations and nationwide client support.

The ideal candidate will lead QA/QC, mentor staff, manage large projects, support proposals, and expand the Southeast portfolio. A PE license with 20+ years in the field is expected, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of water / wastewater treatment experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License and reciprocity ability.

Responsibilities

• Direct QA/QC for water and wastewater projects and provide technical guidance.
• Lead knowledge transfer and staff development within the discipline.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and supervise project delivery.
• Lead technical coordination on large or high-risk projects.
• Support marketing and proposals, including scopes of work and budgets.
• Engage with Southeast client teams to grow Arcadis’ portfolio; travel as needed.
