Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Principal Design Manager to support water, wastewater, stormwater and reclaimed water projects in West Florida, with offices in Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville. This role leads design teams, coordinates with project managers and clients, and drives delivery and QA/QC across complex assets.

You will mentor engineers, develop proposals, manage scope, schedule and budgets, and strengthen client relationships with local municipalities. A Florida P.E.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience and solid waste design/management.
• Florida Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong leadership, client service and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design projects in municipal water, wastewater and reuse.
• Develop scope, schedules and budgets; oversee drawings, specs and permit applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure QA/QC across projects.
• Build client relationships and contribute to winning proposals.
