Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations across multiple wastewater facilities. You will train local technicians, develop resources, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a travel-intensive role.

Responsibilities include process optimization, troubleshooting, and collaboration with the SWOT team on start-ups. The position requires willingness to travel and work varied shifts while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia operated facilities in your region during vacations and absences.
• Develop and mentor local technicians through hands-on visits and electronic training materials.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are followed at all Veolia facilities in your region.
• Support new account start-up projects by coordinating with SWOT team and training new technicians.
• Provide technical support to local techs for troubleshooting process issues and proactive decisions.
• Operate and control pumps, motors, and valves to regulate wastewater flow.
• Collect and test wastewater samples and record data accurately.
• Comply with Veolia safety programs and maintain SOPs.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for outside work.
• Contribute to site optimization and training progress reporting.
