Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a leadership-focused Water Group Project Delivery Leader to oversee the Pennsylvania-Ohio-West Virginia-Delaware Area portfolio.

You will report to the WBG Manager and work with market leads to translate strategic initiatives into successful project delivery across eight offices, guiding Principal-In-Charge and Senior Project Manager roles. You will mentor Area staff, coordinate resources, and collaborate on cross-business opportunities while helping recruit top talent to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and pursue projects.
• Staff development and mentoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop project management skills for staff across all Area offices (Pittsburgh, Mechanicsburg, Philadelphia, Plymouth Meeting, Bethlehem, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati).
• Provide project management team organization and leadership for projects across Area offices.
• Perform project reviews focusing on delivery oversight, financials, schedule, quality, project staffing and mitigating risk.
• Oversee coordination with project managers, project coordinators, Area Quality Manager and other delivery leads.
• Collaborate with Area WBG Professional Services Leader on quality management and training.
• Support recruiting efforts to attract and retain eminent talent for the local program.
