Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience in developing and managing a wide range of client relationships and program/pursuit management.
• Experience with staff development including recruiting, career path and professional growth.
• Active involvement with industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand.
• Ability to work cooperatively with Regional Market Sector Directors and Area Managers.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit strategies, business development tactics and client relationship development.
• Develop and drive long-range construction field services vision and area strategy.
• Mentor staff and support development of technical experts and leaders.
• Coordinate staffing plans and assist with technical or project management hires.
• Oversee area market sector initiatives and ensure delivery of projects to meet client expectations.
• Lead selected pursuits and serve as client manager for key clients.
