Job summary

Veolia Water Technology seeks a field Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at client water and wastewater facilities. The role includes assisting with training of local teams and supporting new account startups.

Expect significant travel, with responsibilities spanning operations, maintenance, sampling, and reporting. You'll develop training resources, ensure compliance with procedures, and provide troubleshooting support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of wastewater treatment plant operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google suite.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Cover vacations and unplanned absences at Veolia facilities in the region.
• Develop and deliver training resources for local technicians.
• Operate and maintain wastewater accounts, perform lab testing, and record data.
• Prepare and distribute daily shift reports and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with the SWOT team on start-ups and new accounts.
