Job summary

McWane is seeking a Regional Engineer to lead engagement with city engineers and key project users across the Western Region (WA, OR, CA, NE, UT, CO, AZ, ID, MO, ND, SD, WY, NM, AK, HI). You will drive specification-driven sales, build industry relationships, and support major projects.

The role requires a strong engineering background, a PE preferred, and willingness to travel up to three nights weekly; familiarity with AWWA and regional trade shows is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Ten years of sales experience with engineering/ specification-driven products advantageous.
• P.E. license preferred; credentials like ENV SP/DBIA/AMPP may be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Call on city engineers and officials, supporting Division Sales Representatives on major projects.
• Build relationships with engineers and officials through meetings and events.
• Maintain CRM records for major firms and code enforcement agencies in the region.
• Travel with sales teams to support engineering and specification calls; present to associations.
