Job summary

Management Performance Associates seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast to drive regional sales, market share, and margins. You will lead a network of reps, influence engineers and municipalities, and coordinate with inside sales to win projects.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, 5+ years in municipal sales, and fluency with CRM and forecasting tools. Travel ~50% and relocation flexibility on the West Coast are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales or technical sales experience in municipal water/wastewater markets.
• Experience with manufacturer's representative firms and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of municipal project lifecycles, specifications, bidding, and procurement.
• Ability to influence specifications and build credibility with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute regional sales strategy to meet revenue, market share, and margin goals.
• Coach and develop a network of manufacturer's representative firms; set expectations and train.
• Influence project specifications by engaging engineers, municipalities, and utilities.
• Lead product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and technical training for engineers and reps.
• Collaborate with inside sales to prepare competitive project quotations and forecasts.
• Maintain opportunity management and Salesforce activity; travel as needed (~50%).
