Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast to drive growth in municipal water and wastewater markets. You will lead a regional strategy, manage a network of manufacturer representatives, and coordinate with engineers, utilities, and inside sales to win projects.

The role requires extensive travel (approx. 50%), strong strategic selling, and the ability to influence specifications and build relationships with consulting engineers and end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of sales or technical sales experience in municipal water/wastewater industry; valve or process equipment preferred.
• Experience managing manufacturer's reps or similar partners.
• Proven ability to influence specifications and drive revenue in a complex sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, market share, and margin goals.
• Manage, coach, and develop manufacturer's representative firms; set expectations and provide training.
• Influence project specifications by engaging engineers, municipalities, and utilities.
• Lead product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and technical trainings for engineers and reps.
• Develop opportunities from qualification to award and coordinate with inside sales for quotes.
