  • Maintain active involvement in regional AWWA chapters and other industry organizations through meetings, committees, volunteer service, and board participation, as appropriate.
  • Attend relevant national, state, and local trade shows, meetings, and conferences.
  • Serve as the regional authority and primary resource for McWane Ductile products, including design, installation, pipe, fittings, gaskets, restrained joints, and specialty products within the engineering and specifications community.
  • Promote the use of Ductile iron (DI) over alternate materials and imported DI pipe.
  • Develop and present programs for engineering and specifying groups, including regional lunch-and-learns with Sales Representatives and Days of Water training with other McWane divisions.
  • Travel with regional Sales Representatives on engineering and specification calls to support their knowledge and experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM contact records for major engineering firms and code enforcement agencies in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report on projects and bids during the planning, predesign, design, and pre-bid stages.
  • Prepare assigned sales reports.

  • Ten years of experience in a high-profile role within the utility, water, wastewater, or construction industry may be considered in lieu of an engineering degree.
  • Must be willing to pursue and obtain industry-related credentials, such as ENV SP, Assoc. DBIA, or AMPP credentials, as determined by the Sales Operations Manager.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications.
