Job summary

Sun Communities seeks a Regional Vice President of RV Operations to lead a portfolio of RV resorts and campgrounds. You will drive operational performance, sales growth, and financial results across the region, while enforcing compliance and customer service standards.

The role requires strategic budgeting, staffing, and marketing execution with accountability for guest experience and asset protection. Key responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, safety and risk management, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in real estate, business, hospitality, or related field.
• 5 years in property management or hospitality, including 2 years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of fair housing and employment law.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office, email, and internet.
• Flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours.

Responsibilities

• Determines and approves staffing levels for each resort in conjunction with budget.
• Ensures compliance with fair housing laws and resort operations.
• Creates annual operating and sales budgets with full budget responsibility.
• Conducts on-site inspections to Sun’s curb appeal standards.
• Develops annual occupancy, lease-up and sales projections and implements programs.
• Handles resident and guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Coordinates team member selection and development.
• Implements marketing and advertising plans with measurable objectives.
• Ensures high service levels aligned with Sun’s Customer Service philosophy.
• Monitors internal controls and recommends changes as needed.
