Sun Communities, Inc. seeks a Regional Vice President of RV Operations to lead a portfolio of RV resorts within an assigned region, driving performance, sales growth, and financial results.

The role oversees staffing, budgeting, marketing, and guest relations while ensuring compliance with housing and employment laws. Travel to multiple properties is required, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, hospitality, or related field required.
• 5 years in property management or hospitality experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and internet.

Responsibilities

• Determines and approves staffing levels for each resort in conjunction with budget.
• Ensures compliance with laws/regulations governing fair housing and resort operations.
• Creates and submits annual operating and sales budgets with budget responsibility.
• Conducts on-site inspections and maintains Sun’s curb appeal standards.
• Develops occupancy, lease-up and sales projections and implements programs to achieve them.
• Handles and resolves resident and guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures policy compliance.
• Implements marketing and advertising plans to achieve targeted results.
• Ensures high service levels across resorts per Sun's Customer Service philosophy.
• Monitors internal controls and recommends changes as needed.
• Implements annual capital improvement program.
• Monitors safety, loss, and risk management across properties.
• Ensures compliance and timely workers’ compensation reporting.
• Approves selection of all contractual services for resorts.
• Collaborates with sales to manage home inventory and brokerage plans.
• Prepares pro-forma budgets for new resorts and expansions.
• Maintains rent rolls and ensures timely rent collection.
• Meets with residents and boards and maintains effective communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
