Job summary

Symetra Financial Corporation in Virginia is seeking a Regional Vice President for Retirement to lead annuity wholesale efforts in the Bank and Wire channels. 80% travel, focus on producer acquisition, and mastery of retirement products and Symetra tools to drive territory growth.

You will partner with DVP, IW, SSS, RM, and Sales Effectiveness to execute the territory plan, deliver trainings, and grow market share while maintaining compliance with FINRA and insurance guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5 years prior wholesaling experience in bank and/or wirehouse channels.
• FINRA 6 or 7, 63 and Life and Health licenses.
• Proven sales competence and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to grow a region by sales results.
• Strong knowledge of the advisor community and industry.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Sales Effectiveness plan to meet activity metrics and grow market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with sound territory coverage and zone rotation.
• Engage with IW, SSS, DVP, RM, and Sales Effectiveness teams to inform on market and product updates.
• Conduct product and sales training through various sessions and events.
• Source leads via Strategic Sales Opportunities and manage travel budget.
