Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Regional Vice President to drive retirement plan sales growth through Financial Professionals, TPAs, RIAs, and DC I/O Firms across the United States. You will promote product options, guide professionals through needs analyses, and attend sales calls as needed.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in the retirement plan industry or 3-5 years experience in a wholesaling role in the retirement plan industry.
• Proven successful sales experience of full service defined contribution recordkeeping and administrative services.
• Over-night travel is required
• Superior time management skills required
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment
• Series 6 and 63 (or the ability to obtain within six months of employment)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate growth of retirement plan sales through Financial Professionals, TPAs, RIAs, and DC I/O Firms
• Promote product options and alliance partners' products
• Advise Financial Professionals during prospecting and during sales calls
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with Financial Professionals to earn retirement plan business
• Coordinate wholesaling efforts with internal sales coordinators to maximize coverage
• Remain current on industry, technical and product knowledge; complete management and expense reports
• Conduct a minimum of sixty meetings per month, documenting in CRM
• Discuss fiduciary solutions and operating expenses of investment products with clients
• Assist employers and professionals in retaining current business
• Maintain strong relationships with DCIO firms in the region
