Job summary

Securian Financial Group is seeking a high-performing External Wholesaler (Regional Vice President) to drive sales growth across the South territory (TX, KS, MO, AR, LA, OK, NM, CO, MS). You will partner with BGAs, advisors, and distribution partners to grow business for SecureCare, coordinating with an Internal Wholesaler to implement territory strategy and deliver impactful sales ideas.

Qualifications

• External wholesaling experience preferably with Linked Benefit/Hybrid Long Term Care products.
• Ability to work autonomously with little direct supervision.
• Demonstrated sales skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technical skills to use Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to a growing organization.
• Must have Life/Health insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Linked Benefit (SecureCare) sales effort for the south territory through personal visits and strong partner relationships.
• Develop partnerships with marketers, financial professionals, and case managers to grow partner businesses.
• Collaborate with the internal wholesaler on business planning and messaging.
• Maintain and analyze a database of agency partners for targeted campaigns.
• Conduct sales activities and product trainings for partners and staff.
• Hold client appreciation seminars and events.
• Manage travel expenses and budgets.
• Deliver administrative reports using Salesforce.
• Assist marketing/product teams in creating new materials and solutions.
