Job summary

BMO is expanding its Commercial Emerging Middle Market team across Chicago and surrounding markets, including Rolling Meadows, Naperville, and nearby states. The Relationship Manager will grow client relationships, structure high-value transactions, and coordinate across internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Account Management or Portfolio Management in a corporate banking environment with sales metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred.
• Credit qualifications and associated credit knowledge according to the portfolio requirements.
• Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-value, complex deals and credit approvals.
• Manage high-value client portfolios and drive cross-selling and profitability.
• Represent the bank at industry forums and conferences to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls in relationship management.
• Deliver reports to leadership on performance, client satisfaction and market trends.
