Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Manager National Trust Administration to lead trust operations across offices under the national charter. You will direct Regional Managers, oversee complex accounts, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and trust documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of experience in trust administration.
• CTFA, JD, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and assign responsibilities to Regional Managers.
• Manage Regional Managers and staff.
• Identify and maintain workloads for trust account administrators.
• Conduct performance appraisals and hiring/termination decisions.
• Assist Regional Managers with largest/most complex trust accounts.
• Ensure tax liabilities and obligations of accounts are met.
• Analyze new trust opportunities to determine duties for the company.
• Establish, maintain and revise service delivery for trust services.
• Direct and guide Regional Managers for reviews and committee proposals.
• Develop and retain personal trust business through professional/community contacts.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed by Trust Administration.
• Stay updated on trust regulation, market strategies and competition.
• Interface with Compliance, Risk and Audit to address issues.
• Initial POC for bank channel managers on mutual client requests requiring exceptions.
• Change champion for administrative processes.
• Interface with bank colleagues on trust sales related issues.
• Responsible for quality controls in trust services.
• Responsible for risk and compliance test results and monitoring exceptions.
• Provide ethical, client-first service across all City National products.
