Job summary

Walmart seeks an experienced Licensed Manager/ HVAC in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across a regional footprint. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient, safe, and sustainable building operations for associates and customers.

Major duties include partnering with store leadership, managing contractors, and driving analytics. Travel ~50% within the region, maintain licenses, and ensure compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• General Facilities Services / Building Maintenance experience (3–5 years).
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
• Leadership skills: able to lead, motivate, and develop others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving: root cause and breakdown analysis.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Travel 50%+ within the region and maintain required contractor licenses.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Produce reporting and analytics for operations.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in training and inspections to ensure quality and codes.
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections as required by codes.
