Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Licensed Manager/HVAC in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for our facilities in a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient and sustainable operation of our buildings while keeping associates and customers safe and comfortable.

Expect travel within the region, licensing requirements, and collaboration with store managers, vendors, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years general facilities/building maintenance experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
• Leadership skills: motivate and develop others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem solving: root-cause and failure analysis.
• Customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance regionally.
• Lead a team of technicians and coordinate with store managers and facility leadership.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors; manage permits and inspections as required.
• Provide reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in training to stay current with codes and standards.
