Job summary

Benedictine is seeking a Culinary Services lead to prepare hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors, and staff. The role includes leading Culinary Services Aides, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring portions meet diet restrictions.

Some travel to Benedictine communities within the region is required. Qualifications include quantity food production experience and completion of a food safety sanitation course (or within the first 90 days).

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity food production.
• Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course, or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and sanitize foodservice equipment and work area.
• Prepare food following safety guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Serve food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Lead Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations and participate in culinary training.
• Travel to Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed/required.
