Job summary

Benedictine is seeking a Cook to prepare hot and cold items for patients, residents, visitors and staff across Benedictine communities. You will lead Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations and travel within the assigned region as needed.

Responsibilities include operating and sanitizing equipment, following recipes and safety guidelines, and ensuring portions meet diet restrictions. The role supports Benedictine's Mission and Core Values in daily service.

Qualifications

• Experience producing large quantities of food for patients, residents, visitors, and staff.
• Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course (or within the first 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans, and sanitizes foodservice equipment and work area.
• Prepares food following safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
• Serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values in day-to-day activities.
• Leads Culinary Services Aides in daily operations and participates in training.
