Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking an experienced Field Service Regional Technical Manager to lead our regional field service team in Pearland, TX. You will drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while overseeing transformer installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning, repair, and outages.

You will serve as the primary technical escalation resource, collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Sales, and customers, and develop field personnel to strengthen capabilities and service delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field.
8+ years electrical field service experience with transformers/substations.
3+ years leading technical field personnel.
Deep knowledge of power transformers, electrical testing, and safety standards.
Experience with high-voltage commissioning and protective relays.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Willingness to travel ~30% and maintain valid driver's license.
Knowledge of project budgets, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide regional technical leadership to Field Service Engineers and Project Managers.
Escalate and resolve complex transformer service issues; support troubleshooting.
Oversee safe, on-time, and within-budget project execution.
Develop field personnel and implement training plans.
Maintain customer relationships and support sales with technical reviews.
Monitor labor productivity, utilization, and project profitability.
Lead safety programs, audits, and incident investigations.
