Prolec GE seeks an experienced Field Service Manager to lead a regional service team supporting power transformers within electric substation systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with ability to communicate technical concepts.
• Experience in utility or electrical services, specifically power transformers.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and business management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational performance metrics.
• Experience leading highly skilled remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional profit and loss performance, forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning.
• Lead and develop a team of field service professionals, including hiring, training and certification, performance management, and talent development.
• Oversee execution of service projects, including scheduling, subcontractor management, procurement, contract administration, and customer communication.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers and field crews.
• Project site supervision when required.
• Review field testing data and approve final project reports before customer delivery.
• Support sales efforts through customer relationship development, quoting, scope reviews, job walks, and technical presentations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
