Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Regional Training & Performance Improvement Specialist to oversee workforce development, onboarding, retention, and engagement across the region. You will direct classroom and virtual training, oversee the Employee Experience Program, and lead internship programs and school partnerships.

You will coordinate with CNIC FFR leadership, align curricula to standards, and provide executive-level briefings.

Qualifications

Requires four-year bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience with subject matter expertise in performance/improvement.
Knowledge of Fleet and Family Readiness mission is highly desired.
Ability to interpret directives and apply them to complex situations; identify problems and propose solutions.
Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of presenting to leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Regional Training & Performance Improvement Specialist for CNRNW FFR, directing workforce development, employee experience, and talent pipelines across all regional programs.
Plan, schedule, and deliver classroom and virtual instruction for groups ranging from 7 to 300+ personnel; oversee facilitator certifications.
Oversee the regional Employee Experience Program (EEP) and supervise up to three specialists; coordinate onboarding touchpoints and base tours.
Lead regional student internship programs and academic partnerships, representing CNIC FFR at career expos and job fairs.
Design, administer, and analyze workforce engagement surveys; deliver executive briefings to installation commanding officers.
