Job summary

Rexel Group in Livermore, CA is seeking a Regional Tool Specialist to drive sales growth and provide technical expertise across industrial power tools and related products. You will partner with branches, sales teams, suppliers, and customers to demonstrate tools, assess operations, develop business plans, and deliver training that improves productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience.
• Electrical distribution industry or related experience required.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of industrial power tools and related products.
• Drive regional sales growth with branch personnel, outside sales teams, customers and suppliers.
• Lead and support sales efforts with key targets and major projects.
• Conduct product demonstrations, jobsite visits, and training sessions.
• Evaluate customer operations to identify productivity improvements and cost savings.
• Develop and execute annual business plans with regional leadership and supplier partners.
• Support stocking programs and inventory strategies for branches.
• Build relationships with suppliers and participate in joint sales calls and promotions.
• Coordinate supplier-funded training events and regional marketing initiatives.
• Assist branches with technical support, application recommendations, troubleshooting, and product training.
• Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Present proposals to technical, operational, purchasing, and executive audiences.
• Participate in supplier training schools and industry events to maintain expertise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience and sales effectiveness.
