Job summary

DAP is seeking a Territory Manager to oversee sales across the Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs corridor and the Salt Lake City Area. This role focuses on managing day-to-day sales activities, account responsibilities, and training customers on DAP products.

You will build dealer and wholesaler relationships across Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Northern NM, meet sales targets, manage budgets, and participate in wholesale shows; strong communication and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant sales experience; home improvement industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Self-starter with proven initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans using marketing programs, field resources, product training, events, and outside sales activities.
• Achieve sales targets for all product categories within the territory.
• Regularly call on dealers, regional chains, distributors, and prospects in the assigned area.
• Provide product knowledge support to dealers and end users, assist with events and merchandising.
• Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management and marketing.
• Establish relationships with dealers, regional & national wholesalers, and key end users.
• Manage T&E and promotional budgets effectively.
• Coordinate participation in national 2-step wholesale shows within the territory.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed to succeed.
